Essay Contest: The One Hundred Year Study on Artificial Intelligence
(AI100) is opening up an early career essay competition for
Ph.D. students, postdocs, and early-career research scientists and
faculty to help us better understand and anticipate how artificial
intelligence will affect our lives, work, and society at large. Visit
https://ai100.stanford.edu/prize-competition
to learn more. Applications will go live on January 17, but now is a
great time for those of you leading graduate courses on AI technology
and/or AI policy to think about assigning this task as part of a class,
and to work with your students to polish and submit particularly strong
essays. Email Christine Raval (cbolas(a)stanford.edu) for more details.
