The wealth of existing algorithms and architectures for parallel and distributed computing combined with the proliferation of future wireless technologies and electronic devices resulted in a fast-growing adoption of future networks and highly decentralized systems. Future networks and distributed systems research is an interdisciplinary research field involving academic researchers in computer science, communication engineering, physics and social and behavioral studies, as well as information technology industry consultants and practitioners to support multiservice, multimedia services convergence, service ubiquity and context awareness, mobility, fixed-mobile convergence, variable connectivity, quality of service, spontaneous and autonomic networking and other capabilities. The 2024 International Conference on Future Networks and Distributed Systems (ICFNDS 2024) aims at addressing advances in research on distributed systems and future networks, covering topics ranging from enabling technologies to emerging applications and industrial experiences. ICFNDS aims to encourage both researchers and practitioners to exchange and share their experiences and recent studies in an interactive atmosphere. The 2023 ICFNDS meeting was held in Dubai, UAE. The 2022 ICFNDS meeting was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The 2021 ICFNDS meeting was held online due to the pandemic. The 2020 ICFNDS meeting was held in St. Petersburg, Russia. The 2019 ICFNDS meeting was held at The University of Paris Sud, France. The 2018 ICFNDS meeting was held at The Middle East University, Amman, Jordan. The 2017 ICFNDS meeting was held at The Møller Centre, Churchill College, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK. All submissions must be made online from the hosted by Microsoft CMT. Email submissions will NOT be accepted. You need to have a CMT account to submit your papers. If you need to edit any author information or resubmit your paper, it may be done up until the submission deadline. Please note that ICFNDS 2023 proceedings will be published by ACM ICPS and therefore all the policies and regulations of ACM ICPS will be applied as detailed in the (ACM Publication Policies: http://www.acm.org/publications/policies/toc). Each paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under the responsibility of the authors). Each paper will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field based on its originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation ensuring the publication of only top-quality contributions. When a paper is accepted at least one of the authors has to register for the conference and deliver the related talk. The early registration deadline is September 13, after which fees will increase. *Aims and Scope:* The 8th International Conference on Algorithmic Decision Theory (ADT 2024) focuses on algorithmic decision theory broadly defined, seeking to bring together researchers and practitioners coming from diverse areas of Computer Science, Economics, and Operations Research in order to improve the theory and practice of modern decision support.
