Dear HSL Teams, We are now barely over a month away from the World Championship in Incheon. We expect this release to represent the definitive version of the function of the rules. There will be a follow-up release closer to the competition that will focus on proofreading and clearing inconsistencies, but the core mechanics of the rules will not change. Teams that haven’t submitted a design should do so as soon as possible by sending an email to hsl_tc(a)lists.robocup.org As per the previous newsletter, robots must maintain neutral, non-reflective bodies and wear tank top-style jerseys covering at least 50% of the upper body. These jerseys must feature a clear primary color, display unique player numbers on both the front and back, and remain easily distinguishable from the opposing team and officials. Goalkeepers must be uniquely marked, and while sponsorship logos are permitted, they must not interfere with the primary color or visibility of player numbers. Each team is required to provide two distinct solid color designs for approval; please ensure these jersey designs are submitted to the TC mailing list by the June 1st deadline. Mock-up designs are also acceptable. Inquiry About Invitation Letter for Major Individual Registration

Issue Subscribing to OC Mailing List and Team Jersey Submission

The deadline for the team jersey design submission is approaching, but I am currently unable to subscribe to the OC mailing list, which prevents me from submitting our design materials. I have already contacted the OC mailing list owner regarding this issue, but unfortunately I have not yet received any response. Inquiry About Team Jersey Design Submission Format

Dear Humanoid League Organizing Committee, We are KHUBER (Kyung Hee University), participating in the Small Robot Division for the first time at RoboCup 2026. As first-time applicants, we are not yet familiar with the standard practices for some of the submission requirements, and we would like to ask for clarification regarding the jersey submission due June 1st. Specifically, we would like to confirm three points: 1. What exactly should the "jersey design" file contain? For example, is it a flat 2D color mockup of the jersey (front and back views), a 3D render on the robot, a physical photo, or something else? 2. What file format is expected (PDF, PNG, etc.), and should both color variants be combined into a single file or sent separately? 3. Is hsl_tc(a)lists.robocup.org the correct address to send the jersey design files to, or should they be submitted elsewhere? We want to make sure our submission meets the Committee's expectations. Greetings Humanoid Soccer League (HSL) Teams! As we move closer to our historic debut in Incheon, South Korea, we have several critical operational updates for all qualified and participating teams. Please review these five key areas to ensure your team is ready for the pitch this June. 1. Jerseys (Extended Submission Due Date: June 1st) Per Rule 4.1, robots must maintain neutral, non-reflective bodies and wear tank top-style jerseys covering at least 50% of the upper body. These jerseys must feature a clear primary color, display unique player numbers on both the front and back, and remain easily distinguishable from the opposing team and officials. Goalkeepers must be uniquely marked, and while sponsorship logos are permitted, they must not interfere with the primary color or visibility of player numbers. Each team is required to provide two distinct solid color designs for approval; please ensure these jersey designs are submitted to the TC mailing list by the June 1st deadline. 2. The Booster Robotics Robot Pool We are excited to confirm the Booster Robotics Robot Pool for HSL 2026. This initiative supports teams that may not yet have their own full fleet of hardware. Available Models: A pool of K1 and T1 humanoid models will be provided by Booster Robotics. For teams that bring 2 K1 robots, they will be eligible to receive up to 3 robots from the pool. For teams that bring 1 T1 robot, they will be eligible to receive up to 2 robots from the pool. For more information, contact Booster Robotics directly. 3. Updated Penalty Rules: Improving Game Safety and Clarity The penalty system has been restructured to better distinguish between tactical fouls and safety violations. Standard in-game infractions are now signaled with a blue card and result in a time penalty. For more serious concerns involving dangerous behavior that risks damage to the field, participants, or other robots, referees will issue yellow or red cards to specific robots. While yellow cards serve as a warning for high-risk play, a direct red card will be issued at the referee’s discretion if a collision causes actual damage or if there is a high danger of recurrence. These changes ensure a safer environment while keeping the game fluid for all teams. 5. Team Posters Every team is encouraged to bring a physical poster to the competition. Format: Preferred A3 format. A4 and similar US formats are also accepted. The poster must be containing the team’s contribution, focused on the current year, to the RoboCup event to share their contributions with the other teams. Assistance Needed: Registration Waiver & Team Name Change (Team Mobilio-ZETIN)

Dear RoboCup Organizers, Technical Committee, and fellow teams, I apologize for using the general mailing list for a registration matter, but I am writing to seek urgent assistance. I previously contacted registration(a)robocup.org regarding our CVENT registration but have not yet received a reply. With the early registration deadline (May 4th) fast approaching, I am following up here to ensure we can complete our process on time. My name is Min-seong Kim, the Team Leader representing the University of Seoul in the Humanoid Soccer League (Large Division). We have two pending administrative issues: *1. First-Time Attendee Waiver (Urgent)* As a new team participating in the international RoboCup for the first time, we qualify for the team registration fee waiver. However, in our CVENT portal, the "First Time Attendees" field is currently empty ("–––"), and the system is requesting the standard team registration fee. *2. Team Name Change* We also requested to officially change our registered team name from "ZETIN" to *"Mobilio-ZETIN"*. We are ready to complete our registration and payment, but we are holding off until the waiver is properly applied to our CVENT account. Inquiry Regarding Partial Team Registration for RoboCup

Dear RoboCup Organizing Committee, I hope this message finds you well. We are currently preparing our team registration for the upcoming RoboCup competition. However, we have encountered a practical issue: several of our team members’ passports have recently expired and are currently under expedited renewal. Given the time constraints, we would like to ask whether it is possible to proceed with the registration using only the members whose passports are currently valid, and then update or add the remaining members once their new passports are issued. We would greatly appreciate your guidance on whether this arrangement is acceptable, and if there are any specific procedures we should follow to ensure compliance with registration requirements.
