Dear Humanoid League Teams,
The Technical Committee wishes all of you a happy new year! We all
really hope it will be one where we will be able to physically get
together and compete again.
In this newsletter, I will cover news regarding the RoboCup world
championship in Bangkok, updates of the rule book as well as a reminder
to apply for RCF-Funded projects.
LOC Survey
----------
The 2022 Bangkok LOC has created a survey to better understand potential
challanges and requirements of teams who applied to participate in
RoboCup 2022. The survey has been distributed to team leaders today and
is due January 31st, 2022. Please take the time and fill it out to help
the LOC to prepare for the competition.
Save the date: "Pre-RoboCup 2022" Seminar

The RoboCup LOC is planning a Pre-RoboCup 2022 seminar to be held
virtuall from 27 - 29 January 2022, 07:00 pm - 10:00 pm Bangkog time
(12:00 pm to 03:00 pm UTC). During the seminar, every league will
present itself and their rules and answer questions from participants.
The Humanoid League talk is scheduled for January 28th at 08:00 pm
Bangkok time and all teams and interested public audience members are
invited to participate. More information as well as the link to the Zoom
meeting will follow shortly.

Reminder: Rule discussion & voting period

We would like to remind you that the discussion period for rule changes
is still open in the Humanoid League forum until January 21st. The
current topics are summarized here:

After the end of the rule discussion period, the Technical Committee
will prepare the online rule voting, which will then take place between
February 7th and 13th. Please have a look at the discussion in the forum
if you haven't done already and look out for an e-mail with further
instructions on the rule voting in the beginning of February.
Reminder: RCF-funded projects

The RoboCup Federation is supporting activities to promote the
development of RoboCup leagues again! Deatils about this funding

The submission deadline for proposals is January 30th.
