Hey everyone,

We are organizing a RoboCup event at this year's IFA Berlin and warmly invite all HSL teams to join us. IFA is the "The world's largest home & consumer tech event" and will take place from September 4–8, 2026 at the Berlin exhibition grounds.

At our booth, we are planning a playing field roughly the size of an S-Field, with artificial turf, goals, and a team area for about 6–8 teams. We are also planning a mini tournament with an awesome prize :)

This is a great opportunity to kick off the new RoboCup season, and you are very welcome to be part of it!

So, mark the date in your calendar! More information will come after the RoboCup.

Here are already a few key points:

- All participating teams get free entry to IFA - Work on your robots and take part in the tournament - Run tests on the field - Connect with other HSL teams - Play test matches and do demos for visitors - Explore the trade fair and talk to potential sponsors - Boost your team's media presence

For context: IFA is one of the biggest trade fairs for consumer electronics. In 2025, IFA had around 220,000 visitors and more than 1,900 exhibitors from 49 countries. Booster, Unitree, and other companies building humanoid robots will also be there and will probably run demos on our field as well.

We already set up a booth at IFA 2025 with a field and three teams, and it was a huge success. This year, we are hoping to make it even better 🙂
