Hi RoboCuppers! The team B-Human announces the availability of our 2023 code release at https://github.com/bhuman/BHumanCodeRelease This is the complete B-Human code release! The software released is a cleaned-up version of the system we used in the 2023 competitions. This is the whole system, i.e the soccer code and the code used in the technical challenges (one as a patch), together with a detailed documentation. You can run the code of the 2023 world champion at home! If you just want to do practice matches against our code, you can also download a ready-to-run image from https://b-human.informatik.uni-bremen.de/public/image2023 Our software is released with its own 3-D simulator. Microsoft Windows 64 bit, Linux 64 bit, and macOS are fully supported. We strongly believe in sharing the developments in our league. Have fun :-) Team B-Human

Rohow 2023 - Call for Participation

Dear fellow RoboCup teams, After four years COVID-related hiatus, we are happy to announce that the 10th Robotic Hamburg Open Workshop (RoHOW) 2023 will again take place in-person at the Hamburg University of Technology! The event will take place from 2023-12-01 to 2023-12-03. The idea of the RoHOW is pretty simple: Sharing ideas in workshops and discussions or just hanging out together with a cool drink. We will have a full size field as well as couches, tables, large monitors, separate rooms for workshops, as well as food and drinks. Topics for talks, workshops, and discussion rounds are contributed by you and scheduled during the event. We already opened the scheduling tool at https://mopad.rohow.de/. Feel free to enter your topics there now. You will have to create a new account there to add topics. If you don't see your team name, let us know. You can find the location, schedule, and more at https://rohow.de/ After you decide to participate, please register until 2023-11-13 ;) Send us an email hulks(a)tuhh.de including your team name and number of participants so we can plan team zones, etc. As always, there is no participation fee. B-Human's Video Analysis App development version

Dear RoboCuppers! The team B-Human announces that we updated our Video Analysis App at: https://github.com/bhuman/VideoAnalysis The 2023 version is still work in progress, so we added it to the new branch "devel". The branch "main" still only contains last year's version. The main changes in comparison to last year's version are: - Uses Python 3.10 - Requires YOLOv5 7.0.0 or above - Distinguishes 10 different team colors - Reads new GameController log format - Accepts more than one video per half - Supports timeouts - Uses GoPro telemetry stream to initialize extrinsic camera calibration - Computes average localization error (with GameController3 logs) - Has scalable user interface Parts of the documentation have not been updated yet, in particular about training the network. We will also publish the dataset soon that was used to train the network. It now uses images from 17 games instead of just the 7 that were used last year. Call for Interest of Participation RoboCup GermanOpen 2024

Dear RoboCup teams, for the 17.04.2024 - 20.04.2024 the GermanOpen are planned in Kassel, Germany. For further planning and discussions with the organisers I would like to collect your interest to participate in the RoboCup GermanOpen 2024. Please send an email to patick.goettsch(a)tuhh.de with the following information until the 17th of November: Your team name, the number of team members interested in participating in the GermanOpen, the number of robots you might bring, and how sure you are that you will participate.
