Hello! We’ve received the following email from a Spanish TV station and
we were asked to share this offer with you.The Spanish TV show ‘El
Hormiguero’ wants to show robots playing soccer as part of their science
section. They like the speed of games in the SSL. While they originally
linked videos that are not identical to robots participating in the SSL,
they were also interested in our robots when we showed some footage from
Sydney.Their show is filmed in Madrid and performed live with
participants and guests. Their set is about 3 meter in length, so teams
might have to adapt to smaller fields and other adaptations to make the
game look more interesting on a small field. They are looking for one
team to participate in their show, and trip & shipping would be covered
by them. After the demo they are planning on a short interview.Teams who
are interested should contact sara(a)7yaccion.com
<mailto:sara@7yaccion.com>, with a video of your robots in action, so
they can know exactly what they could expect on their show. The show
will adapt the date of recording / airing based on your availability, so
you will be able to select a time that’s working for you.Greetings,Tobias

Hi!
My name is Sara Cordero, I'm contacting you from the Science Department
of 'El Hormiguero' TV show (nominated for Emmys Awards).
First of all I hope that you and your whole environment are fine despite
the covid19.
El Hormiguero is a prime time show on National Spanish TV and it’s
broadcasted in the whole South America and parts of Asia. It’s a talk
show with guests such as Will Smith, Hugh Jackman, Jessica Chastain, Tom
Cruise, Ben Stiller, Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Aniston, etc...
We would love to invite you to be a part of our science section and do
in the program a robot soccer game they do in the Robocup. We
particularly like the category of small robots
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_A8hrs6CT8). This video is from 2016,
but I’ve seen a video from 2020 in which they seem to be participating.
Could you put me in touch with any of the teams that compete in this video?
You can see the science section here:

Our science team have scientists of different fields which will contact
you in case you need technical assistance. The show has a strong
commitment to science and innovation, that’s why we perform scientific
experiments every week and try to bring the latest scientific
discoveries and technologies and the people behind it. We are pioneers
in this type of show in Spain (we are now in our 14th season) and we
have exported the format to many different countries.
Here you can see some of the projects that we have brought the program:
