Still Time to Join the NIST UAS First Responder UAS Wireless Data Gatherer Challenge!

[cid:image002.png@01DB3FBB.ADB07AE0] Dear RoboCup Community, The Stage 2 deadline of the NIST PSCR's First Responder UAS Wireless Data Gatherer Challenge (UAS 6.0) Challenge is January 10th, 2024 - there is still plenty of time to enter for your chance at winning up to $40,000 and an invitation to Stage 3: Live In-Person Event - Scenario Testing! Do you have expertise in UAS, AI, IoT, radio communications, cybersecurity, and beyond? UAS 6.0 seeks such innovators to help support the public safety community by enhancing real-time situational awareness and saving lives in potentially dangerous, radio-complex outdoor environments without fixed communications infrastructure or satellites. How to Submit: 1. Complete Your UAS Testing: Ensure your system meets the Required Specifications, and record your attestation videos. 2. Submit Your Materials: Upload your test method measurements and attestation videos via the Contestant Portal by January 10, 2025. 3. Stay Engaged: Continue refining your system based on feedback and submit additional measurements as needed until the final January 10th deadline. 4. Note: For optional mid-stage reviews (due 12/2), the submission portal will be paused from December 2-6, 2024, for evaluations.
