Texas Robotics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. Outstanding candidates in all areas of Robotics will be considered.
Tenure-track positions require a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant area at the time of employment. Successful candidates are expected to pursue an active research program, to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses, and to supervise students in research. The current robotics faculty includes representatives from several departments who work to advance fundamental scientific and engineering knowledge in areas such as intelligent navigation and manipulation, robot learning, multi-robot systems, and human-robot interaction, as well as on numerous applications including social, rehabilitation, surgery, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, space, nuclear, and defense.
