Cognitive Cooperating Robots, located at DIAG (Dipartimento di Ingegneria Informatica, Automatica e Gestionale) of Sapienza University of Rome, Italy (http://labrococo.dis.uniroma1.it/) is planning to issue a call for assistant professor (3 years contract, renewable, expected to start in Fall 2020), to do research in the area of Human Robot Interaction, with focus on machine learning, perception, spoken language interaction.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Computer Science with focus on artificial intelligence and robotics and in particular on the above research topics, has a very good publication record in top conferences/journals in the field, and has a strong background in software development for artificial intelligence and robotics applications.
