Preliminary Results and Slot Allocation
Hello!
Going through all participation materials is sadly taking a bit longer this year. Nonetheless most teams should have received a mail regarding their preliminary qualification status by now. In case you are missing a mail and are not already in contact with us, feel free to contact us as well.
This delay also means that we cannot send out the reviews yet, as we still need to wait until all reviews are finished.
In addition, there is some general information that we would like to share. As previously mentioned, we will be using a slot system again this year. More information can be found on the following homepage: [2026 Qualification Slot Process](https://ssl.robocup.org/robocups/robocup-2026/robocup-2026-qualification/qua...) To claim an allocated slot, please fill out the Letter of Commitment template by the appointed deadline. You can use the [2026 Slot Status](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E3hFgMjvlyj9cwQWjiQdw8wdj7NM6PHqutKH...) sheet in combination with your appointed team ID to see the status of your team in the qualification process. To see the qualification status of all teams, visit the [2026 Teams homepage](https://ssl.robocup.org/robocups/robocup-2026/robocup-2026-teams/), which will be updated throughout the process.
The number of slots may increase if local circumstances allow. If teams cannot compete at RoboCup 2026 but still want to attend, we may be able to offer observer tickets, which allow access to the venue and team area to experience the competition. This is intended for new teams that struggle to qualify. If you can come, we would be very happy to see you experience RoboCup and our community. If you are interested, please indicate this in a reply so that we can have a better overview of how many teams are interested.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the OC/TC/EC.
Thank you,
David Brand.
