Deepest remote operation of robot exploration

Dear all,
this is a quite nice background story on how realistic the scenario of the Rescue Simulation competition is.
The robots had to explore a collapsed mine, where mapping was essential because the lime-mine was all grey, with pillar after pillar (see the hand-draw maps of the 100y old mine in the video).
In addition, the robots had to set up a mesh network over a distance of 1.7 km to be able to explore the mine.
