Dear MSL teams,

Before the qualification deadline we have contacted everyone to ask about their plans to travel to Brazil, as well as if they are interested in a European MSL event. We want to thank everyone for their response. In this email, we would like to update everyone about the current status.

Now that the qualification has finished, we see that very few teams that have qualified for the main competition are considering traveling to Brazil. The RoboCup Federation requires at least 3 teams in the main competition to host MSL. Currently, we are not sure if MSL will meet this criterion. We are contacting the last teams to see if they plan to travel to Brazil.

We have no definitive update regarding the European tournament yet. However, we are investigating several options. We are rather positive that a European MSL tournament will be organized in September-December of this year. Location is still to be determined.
