Inquiry Regarding Exact AdultSize Field and Goal Dimensions for the Upcoming Competition – Wuhan University Robotics Team
Dear Humanoid League Technical Committee and RoboCup Organizing Committee,
We hope this email finds you well.
We are the robotics team from Wuhan University in China, and we are currently making active preparations for the upcoming RoboCup competition.
While carefully reviewing the official rulebook, we noticed that the dimensions for the L-Field (Large Field) and the corresponding Large Goals are provided as allowed ranges rather than exact fixed values. Specifically:
L-Field Size: Length (14 to 22 meters) and Width (9 to 14 meters).
Large Goal Dimensions: Depth (1.0 to 2.0 meters), Width (2.6 to 3.1 meters), and Height (1.8 to 2.0 meters).
In order to optimize our robots' calibration and ensure that our training environment simulates the actual competition scenarios as closely as possible, we would respectfully like to inquire about the exact dimensions that will be used in the official matches this year.
If the specific setup has not yet been finalized, any preliminary guidance or information on the most likely configuration would be immensely helpful to our preparation.
Thank you very much for your time, hard work, and continuous support for all participating teams. We look forward to your kind reply.
Sincerely, Robotics Team of Wuhan University, China
