RoboCup Humanoid League Newsletter - March 2023
Dear Humanoid League Teams,
this March version of our monthly newsletter contains important updates regarding the qualified teams for the 2023 soccer competition in Bordeaux, voting results and the final rule draft, as well as the upcoming streaming dates for the Humanoid League Virtual Season.
Final submission status ----------------------- After reviewing the camera-ready submission material, we are delighted to announce that we have 16 teams in KidSize and 4 teams in AdultSize fully qualified for the 2023 world championship in Bordeaux! The final list of accepted teams can be found here: https://humanoid.robocup.org/robocup-2023/teams/
If you are among the accepted teams, you will receive an official letter including the code for registration to the competition soon.
2023 Rules - Voting Results and Final Draft ----------------------- The results of the rule voting for the 2023 competition can be found here: https://hl.forum.robocup.org/t/results-2023-rule-voting-results/570

Accommodation for Bordeaux ----------------------- As the Tour de France, the world's most famous bicycle stage race, will be in Bordeaux during the same time as the RoboCup 2023 world championship, we advice all teams to book accommodation for the period as soon as possible to make sure you find affordable options for your team.
Humanoid League - Virtual Season ----------------------- The Humanoid League Virtual Season has started with the first round robin game day today. The coming game days and streaming times are as follows:
Round Robin game 2: 2nd April - Streaming at 3pm CEST Round Robin game 3: 16th of April - Streaming at 10 am CEST Finals: 30th of April (during the German Open Replacement Event) - Streaming 3 pm CEST

Symposium --------- The RoboCup Symposium will be held in conjunction with the 2023 RoboCup competition in Bordeaux. The RoboCup Symposium covers a range of topics with relevance to areas of robotics and artificial intelligence. The submission deadline is April 16th, 2023. Humanoid Research Demonstration ------------------------------- The Humanoid Research Demonstration is still open for applications. You can find further information on our website: https://humanoid.robocup.org/robocup-2023/call-for-participation/ The research demonstration is an excellent opportunity for teams and other research groups that are not participating in RoboCup to showcase their research related to humanoid robotics. As this is event was newly established in 2020, we would appreciate if you could share our call with interested colleagues and spread the word.
