Dear Robocup Committee,
We are writing to express our regret for missing the submission deadline for the 2023 RoboCup Humanoid League (kid size).
During the past few years, our team, the humanoid robot soccor team of Tsinghua University, had intended to participate in the competition, but unfortunately we were not able to do so due to the pandemic policies in China and therefore missed the RoboCup 2021 and 2022, which caused our team to lose connection with the Robocup faculty. However, we have made great effort towards our goal of participating in the competition this year, and we sincerely anticipate the opportunity to do so.
We understand that the submission deadline has passed, but we still wonder if you could grant us an exception to participate in the 2023 RoboCup Humanoid League (kid size). Besides, the submission system for humanoid research demonstration for robocup 2023 is still open now. It would be kind of you if you could let us know about your decision at your earliest convenience so that we may start preparing for the research demonstration if rejected by the kid size humanoid league.
We sincerely apologize again for any inconvenience caused, and we really look forward to your reply.
Sincerely, Yixuan Wang Team Leader, Tsinghua University Robocup Team
