We are excited to announce the 3rd Latin American Summer School on Robotics (LACORO), which aims at making cutting-edge knowledge on Artificial Intelligence for Robotics Applications accessible in the Southern Hemisphere.
Our aims are:
- to build a sustainable community of students and researchers in the area of Artificial Intelligence for Robotics.
- to foster intercultural student collaboration within and outside the Americas
- to make cutting-edge scientific topics accessible to everyone.
The Summer School will provide a clear overview of Robotics, while also providing an in-depth analysis of state-of-the-art research in the areas of Cognitive Robotics, Soft Robotics, and Robot Vision, and in the application areas of Agricultural Robotics, and Robotics for Mining.
The Summer School will have presentations by renowned international speakers, including the following confirmed speakers:

Format: LACORO will include cutting-edge lectures and tutorials on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Moreover, we will host tutorial and mentoring sessions for both scientific topics and other aspects of the academic research world.
Date and Location: LACORO will be held in-person from the 9th to 13th of December, 2024 at the Universidad de O’Higgins (UOH), Rancagua, Chile.
We would like to highlight that there are limited spots for this event. They will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis as registrations are completed. Registration for students is free until 1st October 2024.
