The main competition will be played on mock-up machines and on a 5x5m2 field. Mock-up machines can be assembled by the teams, according to the specifications found in the rulebook. We have split up the full RCLL game into 5 challenges which represent the main difficulties of the normal game, but can be executed on a smaller scale:
- Navigation Challenge, navigating through a given set of waypoints
- Exploration Challenge, finding and correctly identifying production machines
- Grasping Challenge, robust workpiece manipulation
- Markerless Detection, detecting and labeling a machine without the usual AR-Tags
At JapanOpen 2020, Logistics League Technical Entry Challenge was be held. The rule of it is similar as above challenges (but not same).
I uploaded the videos of its competition at YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8q_p6ft93ph8899IUDv9yyTd1snGKiLJ
These movies show full games which include setup phase. In this time, time for setup phase is not 2 or 5 minutes but no limited, because there is no participants at the venue, and at the venue students in Ryukoku University work as the staff in order to control the robots.
Now I make the digest version which does not include the setup phase and so on. And after that I will add the English message to them because we use only Japanese.
Best Regards, Wataru.
