Dear RoboCup@Work Teams,
We are pleased to announce the qualified teams for the RoboCup@Work league of RoboCup 2020!
It was great news for our community to see a number of new teams joining our league. The qualification process this year was very difficult given the increase in the number of teams and also trying to make room for new teams to join our league. Therefore, please read the following details very carefully.
We decided to qualify teams in two categories: 1) Qualified 2) Conditionally Qualified
The qualified teams will receive the registration code shortly and can proceed with registering their team for RoboCup 2020! The conditionally qualified teams will have to send an additional qualification video showing that their robot is able to autonomously navigate an arena.
Below is the list of QUALIFIED teams in alphabetical order:
1. AutonOHM 2. b-it-bots 3. CRT 4. LUHbots 5. MRL@WORK 6. RED 7. Robo-Erectus@Work 8. RoboHub Eindhoven 9. Team robOTTO 10. YRA
Below is the list of CONDITIONALLY QUALIFIED teams in alphabetical order:
1. ARC - 218 2. Democritus Industrial Robotics 3. Nutnappers 4. TUF_bots 5. TYROLICS
We have not set any hard deadline for the 5 conditionally qualified teams to submit a video of their robot autonomously navigating an arena. However, these teams should pay attention to RoboCup 2020 registration deadlines and provide us with their video so they would be able to register in time for early registration or regular registration. Please send your video to this email address. We expect a link to view/download the video. Please do not send your file as attachment.
The 10 qualified teams will receive an email within the next few days that contains the registration code. The email will be sent to the email address provided in the pre-registration form.
If you think that your team's name should have been in either of the above lists, please contact us immediately.
If you have any question/doubt about the additional qualification video, please contact us immediately.
Thank you to all teams for your great efforts so far. We look forward to seeing all 15 teams in RoboCup 2020.
Regards, RoboCup@Work EXEC Committee
